Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Responsibilities
Follows the plan of care to provide safe, competent care/service to the client
Offers support to the individuals with their activities of daily living (ADL)
Observes and reports any change in the client’s mental or physical condition or in the home situation
Provides clients’ transportation to and from activities
Assists in the implementation of individual support plans and behavioral plan goals
Abides to ethics of individual confidentiality
Responsible for medication administration and adhere to the policies and procedures regarding medication administration
Must complete required documentation to reflect client’s outcomes accurately and in a timely fashion
Requirements
High School diploma or GED.
Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities; preferred 1-3 years.
Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks.
Must possess a valid driver’s license & an insured and a registered vehicle.
Ability to pass and maintain required trainings: DSP, CPR (every 2 years), CPI (every year), CRMA (every 2 years)
Office Manager

Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $42,000 per year
Reports To: Administrator/Executive Leadership
Position Summary
Peace Residential Care (PRC) is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and professional Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our administrative office. The Office Manager serves as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, and community partners while ensuring the office operates efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual will play a key role in supporting administrative staff, assisting employees, coordinating office functions, and maintaining a welcoming and productive workplace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Office Operations
Ensure the administrative office is properly staffed and attended during regular business hours.
Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment.
Coordinate office maintenance needs and communicate with vendors or service providers as necessary.
Monitor office supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
Maintain filing systems and ensure administrative records are organized and accessible.
Administrative Support
Manage and coordinate calendars, appointments, meetings, and schedules for administrative staff.
Assist administrative personnel with assigned projects and tasks as needed.
Prepare, organize, and distribute documents, reports, correspondence, and meeting materials.
Assist with data entry and general record-keeping activities.
Support the onboarding process for new employees by preparing paperwork and coordinating training schedules.
Employee and Visitor Assistance
Greet and assist employees, applicants, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and messages.
Respond to general inquiries and provide information regarding company procedures and services.
Assist employees with administrative and basic technical issues and coordinate additional support when needed.
Communication and Coordination
Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate communication and workflow.
Communicate office updates, announcements, and administrative information to staff.
Assist with coordinating company meetings, trainings, and events.
Compliance and Confidentiality
Maintain confidentiality of employee, client, and company information.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Assist with maintaining compliance documentation and administrative records.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Professional demeanor and customer-service-oriented attitude.
Flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of job duties as organizational needs change.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous office administration, receptionist, customer service, or office management experience.
Experience working in healthcare, residential care, human services, or a related field.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Basic troubleshooting and technical support skills.
Training
The selected candidate will receive training to become familiar with Peace Residential Care’s policies, procedures, systems, and operational processes. Ongoing training and professional development opportunities may be provided as needed.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and carry office supplies and materials up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
