Message From Our CEO

Dear PRC Community,

As we reach the halfway point of 2025, I want to reflect on the incredible dedication and heart that each of you brings to our mission. This past month, we’ve seen many milestones, especially as some of our team members celebrated academic achievements. We’re proud to recognize them and all who continue to grow and serve with excellence.

Summer is now upon us, and it’s a wonderful time to re-energize. Whether it’s a walk with our residents, a smile over a shared meal, or a moment of quiet reflection, I encourage you to find joy in the small things. Let’s keep supporting each other and making PRC a home filled with compassion, respect, and care.

With gratitude,

Guillaume Ishimwe | CEO | Peace Residential Care

Staff Graduation Spotlight

We’re thrilled to celebrate our amazing team members who recently graduated! Their hard work and commitment to both their studies and caregiving roles inspire us all. Congratulations on reaching this important milestone. You make us proud!

Kevin Garnon Nishimwe

Bachelor’s in New Media (Minor in Film and Video),

University of Maine

Kevin successfully balanced creative academic pursuits with service to the community, thanks to PRC’s flexibility and nurturing environment. Studying New Media with a minor in Film and Video, he found PRC to be more than a workplace—it became a space where he could grow. “PRC has been a major contributor to my studies,” Kevin said. “It gave me the chance to give back to the community while having flexible hours that supported my education. I could ask for help with no fear, and that really made a difference.” His experience reflects PRC’s belief that when staff are supported, they thrive; and so does the community they serve.

Arsinna (Diora) Ndagano

Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering,

University of Maine

For Diora, pursuing a demanding degree in biomedical engineering while working was made possible by the work culture at PRC. The organization offered her a flexible schedule and consistent support, helping her stay afloat academically and financially. “PRC provided me with a work environment and schedule that made it possible for me to attend school and still provide for myself,” she said. “That kind of support is something I’ll always be grateful for.” Her story is a testament to what’s possible when workplaces invest in their people’s long-term goals.

Felicien Musanganya

Diploma in Electrical Technology,

Eastern Maine Community College (EMCC)

When Felicien moved to Maine, Peace Residential Care became his very first employer and a strong pillar in his journey. Over the course of two years, PRC provided the flexibility he needed to balance work and school, allowing him to complete a Diploma in Electrical Technology at EMCC successfully. “The CEO and staff were not only understanding, but genuinely interested in my success,” Felicien shared. "Their support made this milestone possible." PRC staff even attended his graduation ceremony, celebrating alongside him.
