Note From Our Chief Operating Officer
Dear Friends,
As many of you know, I recently stepped into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Peace Residential Care. It is truly an honor to serve in this capacity, and I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome and encouragement I have already received. I look forward to continuing working together with our residents, families, dedicated staff, and community partners as we continue to build a person-centered care system.
This summer has brought unusually warm temperatures across Maine. While the sunshine offers many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, it also reminds us of the importance of taking extra precautions during periods of extreme heat. I encourage everyone to stay hydrated, limit prolonged exposure to the sun during the hottest parts of the day, and check in on one another whenever possible. Small acts of care can make a significant difference.
Thank you for the trust you place in Peace Residential Care. I am excited for the months ahead and grateful to be part of a team that is deeply committed to helping the individuals we support live healthy, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.
Wishing you a safe and enjoyable remainder of the summer.

☀️ Summer Activities in Full Swing
Our homes have been taking advantage of the warmer weather with walks, outdoor games, cookouts, community outings, and other seasonal activities. These opportunities not only encourage physical activity but also strengthen friendships, build confidence, and create lasting memories.

🤝 Staff Appreciation
We want to recognize our incredible direct support professionals and administrative team for the compassion, patience, and professionalism they demonstrate every day. The relationships they build with our residents are at the heart of everything we do.
Thank you for making Peace Residential Care a place where individuals can truly thrive.
💡Family Reminder
As summer schedules become busier, we encourage families to stay connected with their loved ones through visits, phone calls, or video chats whenever possible. These connections play an important role in supporting emotional well-being and strengthening relationships.
If you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit, please reach out to us and we can make that happen.
Looking Ahead
As we move further into the summer, we're excited to continue creating opportunities for learning, recreation, and community engagement. Thank you for trusting Peace Residential Care to support your loved ones.
We wish everyone a safe, healthy, and enjoyable remainder of the summer!
