Note from our COO
Dear PRC Community,
I hope you and your families are doing well and enjoying the beautiful colors of autumn here in Maine.
As we move through October, I am reminded of how quickly the seasons change and how important it is to appreciate the people and moments that make each day meaningful.
At Peace Residential Care, our commitment remains the same throughout every season: to provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care to the individuals we support.
I want to take this opportunity to recognize our dedicated staff. Your patience, kindness, and commitment make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Whether through helping with daily routines, encouraging independence, or simply taking time to listen, your efforts contribute to making our homes welcoming and supportive places to live.
To our families and friends, thank you for your continued trust, encouragement, and partnership. Your involvement is an important part of the care and community we strive to build.
As the weather grows cooler and we prepare for the months ahead, I encourage everyone to continue looking out for one another, staying connected, and finding joy in the simple moments of everyday life.
Wishing you all a healthy and wonderful autumn season.

Embracing the Change of Seasons.
As the days grow shorter and temperatures begin to drop, seasonal changes can affect our mood, energy, and daily routines.
In this month's Wellness Blog, we explore simple ways to support mental and emotional well-being during autumn, from spending time outdoors and maintaining healthy routines to staying connected with others.
Small acts of self-care can make a meaningful difference as we transition into the colder months.
It’s Halloween!
We are excited to invite you all to this year's Halloween Party! It would be wonderful to have you join us as we come together for an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and spooky surprises!
Your presence would make the party even more special! 🧡
We'll be haunting the halls until you arrive!
We hope to see you there, 👻🎃
Enjoying Autumn in Bangor
October is a wonderful time to enjoy the natural beauty of Maine and participate in activities around our community.
From colorful fall foliage to local parks and community spaces, there are many simple ways to enjoy the season.
Here are a few ideas for autumn activities:
Enjoy a scenic fall outing: Take a short drive or walk to appreciate the changing colors of the trees.
Visit the Bangor Public Library: Explore books, activities, and opportunities for learning and connection.
Get creative indoors: Fall-themed crafts, music, and seasonal decorations can bring enjoyment to our homes.
Explore local parks: On warmer days, consider visiting Bangor City Forest or another accessible outdoor space.
We encourage our staff to plan activities that reflect the individual interests, preferences, and abilities of the people we support.
Whether it's a short outing or a simple activity at home, the goal is to create opportunities for enjoyment, independence, and meaningful engagement.
