PRC November Newsletter
Message From Our CEO
Dear PRC Family,
As we turn the page to November, I want to take a moment to reflect on the joy and togetherness we experienced during our Halloween Party on October 29. It was a day filled with laughter, creativity, and community spirit as residents and staff joined in the fun with costumes, treats, and music. These moments remind us how meaningful connection is in our shared mission.
As we approach Thanksgiving, let us continue that same spirit of gratitude, appreciating one another and the unique gifts each person brings to the PRC family. Thank you for your continued dedication, compassion, and teamwork in making Peace Residential Care a true home for all.
With gratitude,
Guillaume Ishimwe | CEO

Bringing Halloween to Life: How Shari Kluth Made This Year’s Celebration Unforgettable
This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Shari Kluth, one of Peace Residential Care’s dedicated Direct Support Professionals, whose creativity and hard work helped make this year’s Halloween Party a wonderful success. From decorating each home to ensuring every resident felt included and excited, Shari went above and beyond to bring the spirit of the season to life. Her enthusiasm, teamwork, and genuine care for the residents embody the heart of what makes Peace Residential Care such a special place.
The Halloween Party at Peace Residential Care, held on October 29th, was a joyful celebration that brought residents and staff together in the spirit of fun and inclusion. According to Shari Kluth, a Direct Support Professional, the inspiration behind this year’s event was simple yet meaningful — “the residents enjoy being together and dressing up.” Every home and the party hall were adorned with festive decorations, creating excitement and happiness among the residents. “Each and every resident loved their homes decorated and are so happy when I arrive to help them decorate,” Shari shared, adding that some even asked for more decorations. The highlight of the event for her was “the food and getting together seeing all of their friends,” and she said the most memorable part was “seeing how happy they all were and all their smiles.”
Preparation for the event took about two weeks, from shopping to decorating each home. Most residents actively participated, helping to decide where to place decorations and offering their input throughout the process. Shari noted that “all the staff were very helpful and willing to assist with anything and included their residents in everything.” For her, the celebration was more than just a party — it reflected the agency’s genuine care and strong sense of community. “I felt so proud to be a staff in the agency because they truly care about each and every resident… it fills my heart with love,” she said. Looking ahead, Shari hopes to “get started earlier with decorating homes” next year and continue spreading joy through holiday celebrations like Halloween and Christmas.
